He attended the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti in Ekiti State where he obtained a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy with a grade of Upper Credit in 1994. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the National Open University of Nigeria, an Associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). His over twenty (20) years professional working experience cut across many industries/sectors of the economy, such as Maritime and Shipping, Retail, manufacturing Telecommunications, Consultancy and Audit.
He worked as a Financial Accountant with P&O Nedlloyd Nigeria Ltd, a multinational shipping and logistics company with the responsibility of overseeing the financial accounting activities of the organization.
Some of his past and current work records include County Hospital Ltd as Credit Controller; Vanguard Media Ltd where he was in charge of payroll and Tax management; Johnnic Communications Ltd and Numetro Ltd- South Africa based companies; A3 & O Ltd, a telecommunication company; Gulf Agency Shipping at Apapa;
A Finance and Accounts Manager with Sharaf Shipping Agency Nigeria Ltd.
He handles audit and consultancy assignments with Thomas Oyewumi & Co, a firm of Chartered Accountants and DutchRoyal Integrated Resources International.
